- For this multi-family addition project we designed a new mansard roof to replace the gable of on an existing 3 family home.
- Deepened the basement which was approximately 6' below the water table. This required designed and detailed a reinforced concrete foundation system to resist hydrostatic forces.

- We designed full span i-joists on each floor in order to remove the majority of interior load bearing walls.
- Designed staggered interior and exterior shear walls in order to laterally brace an open-floor plan structure with large window openings.

Like many beach homes, the owner preferred to have very few interior load bearing walls, and large glass walls which overlooked the ocean. We designed several steel beams and a cantilevered diaphragm to collect all wind forces and transfer them to an interior load bearing wall.
This project is currently under construction.

Multi-Gable Roof Addition
This large scale project featured a three story addition which was perpendicular to the existing structure. All of the roofs were designed as vaulted roofs with several gables and shed dormers off of the main and perpendicular ridge line.
